What We Treat
Acupuncture is effective in treating a myriad of issues. Some treatment is curative, some is palliative. For example, if you haven’t been exercising for a while and you then go and over exert yourself, you may end up with joint pain due to over use. Acupuncture can decrease the inflammation, release the muscle tension and relieve the pain. Thus you are cured, until you go out and over exert your body again. This would be more curative. If you have pain because you have arthritis, then acupuncture isn’t going to cure the arthritis, but it can mitigate the pain, increase range of motion and even possibly reduce your reliance on medications. This would be palliative.

Often when I talk to people who have never had acupuncture, they seem surprised that they could use my services. Many have no idea the treatment scope acupuncture can positively affect. Below is a list that is in no way complete, but intended to educate on the range of conditions or symptoms acupuncture can address.
